The neurological components related to Topographical orientation

Abstract
The purpose of this research is to make clear cognitive components - especially, visual perception and visual memory - related to topographical orientation and which side brain hemisphere tasks charge of topographical orientation. The design of study was double dissociation design. The subject of this study was consisted of right stroke 17, left stroke 13, and unaffected persons 20. The result of research is that topographical orientation is not pure cognitive capacity existing a inherent area but associated several capacities. Especially, topographical orientation was not relevant to visual perception, but was relevant to visual memory much. Prior researches insisted right hemisphere took part in this capacity, but this research person confirmed that topographical orientation is integrated with right and left hemispheres.
